Moving a dozen pigs takes the right equipment, whether taking animals to a livestock show or piggies to a market. In February 2023, a violent windstorm picked up our pig trailer, rolled it, and then slammed it to the ground upside down. When we righted it, we found that the frame was bent and that the trailer was unsafe to pull. Our concerns for safety have caused us to scrap that trailer and seek a replacement.

We’ve found a trailer that will do the job. It is a 2024 SOONER SELECT 720A. This trailer has the necessary lined and insulated space to haul our hogs and the additional capacity to move the show equipment that goes with them.  The cost of this trailer is $36,000.
