Resources: A range of resources, including:
- An independent living experience for young men (18 – 24 years of age)
- Teaching the Going Places curriculum, developed at the Presbyterian Children’s Home of Amarillo, which addresses life skills
- Career assessment and counseling
- Therapeutic counseling with residents
- Life coaching with residents
Transitional Mentors
- Mature, Christian adults
- Experience in relationship development
Licensure and/or Certifications of Professionals:
- Licensed Social Worker (LMSW), or
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- TBRI Educator or Practitioner
Theoretical Approach:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Application of TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®)
- Attention to trauma, ambiguous loss, and resilience
- Help residents move forward with Ansell-Casey life skills
