Mary Ann Rosenbalm has been named the new President of the Westview Boys’ Home Board of Directors, bringing a legacy of leadership, service, and compassion to the role. A lifelong advocate for Westview’s mission, Mary Ann’s connection to the organization is deeply rooted. Growing up in Western Oklahoma, she was introduced to Westview at a young age through her father, Farris Brookman, whose decades of service as a board member made volunteerism a cherished family tradition.

Westivew’s commitment to providing stability, guidance, and hope to young men facing challenges has always inspired me,” says Mary Ann. “It’s an honor to contribute to an organization that has been so meaningful to my family and community.”

With a distinguished 30-year career in education, Mary Ann’s experience equips her perfectly for this vital role. As a fifth-grade teacher, she cultivated essential leadership qualities such as empathy, organizational precision, and the ability to inspire and motivate those around her. Her time in the classroom has consistently demonstrated that, with the right resources, targeted intervention, and thoughtful guidance, young people can make meaningful choices that shape both their academic journeys and future lives.  These skills, combined with her passion for supporting young lives, position her to guide Westview’s mission with strength and vision.

As President, Mary Ann is dedicated to preserving Westview’s legacy while fostering its financial stability and sustainable growth. Her passion shines through in initiatives like LAUNCH, a program designed to help young men navigate the transition to adulthood with confidence and success.

“Westview’s impact extends well beyond the years our students spend there,” Mary Ann reflects. “It’s truly inspiring to see how the right support can unlock potential and transform lives.”

Terry Owens, Executive Director of Westview Boys’ Home, expressed his confidence in Mary Ann’s leadership:
