John Moore, BA, MEd

John Moore (Chip) has served Westview Boys’ Home since 1995. As the Director of Development, John is responsible for all aspects of donor relations and grant management. He also works to facilitate church relations.

John obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Cornerstone College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He earned his Master of Education degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. His areas of professional interest include Brief Solution-Oriented Therapy, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Group Counseling Skills and Techniques, Anger Management, Integrated Pathways of Childhood Development, The Prepare Curriculum, Explosive and Difficult Children, Managing Non-Aggressive & Aggressive People.

John has served as a committee member of the Safe School Advisory Committee at Hollis High School.  He has been a Representative, Vice President and President, of the Hollis Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). He has also served as a deacon and an elder in the church.

John was awarded the Ed Deaver Service Award in 2003 for his exemplary care for the boys at the Home. John is married to Sue Moore, Westview’s Accountant; they have two adult children.
